Winds, rain chance increases this weekend… but wait

Weather continues to warm up in Sebastian, Florida.

SEBASTIAN – Just when things warm up, the rain threatens our weather for the weekend… but wait, we may be in the clear.

These warmer days have been nice this week, and that should continue into Friday with a high near 81 degrees. Friday is our best day this week, so try to get out there and enjoy it. We don’t tell the boss. The overnight low will be near 64.

Saturday and Sunday are pretty much the same, but most forecasters are predicting a lot of rain. There’s a 40 to 50 percent chance of rain for both days. However, we think we might be in the clear.

The winds are increasing for both days to 15 to 20 mph out of the northeast an east. These two days are going to be windy, but that might be good news.

You see, anytime we have winds out of the northeast or east in Sebastian, it keeps us dry. The winds are also increasing. As we predicted last weekend, we don’t think we’ll see much rain. But it will be a great weekend to own a sailboat!

Let’s hope for the best weather, although we do need the rain.

Have a great weekend everyone, and please be nice on the roads.
