Last night, the temperature got as low as 48 degrees in Sebastian, Florida. But it quickly warmed up to 67 degrees by 10:00 a.m.

But if you think 48 degrees was cold, wait until Friday and Saturday night when we will see temps as low as the 30s! However, most of the week will be in the mid-60s and the highs in the mid-70s.

We have a 60 percent chance of rain during the day on Tuesday, increasing to 80 percent on Tuesday night. Then, the rain chance will be 60 percent on Wednesday.

Here are the daily temperatures for the week (Highs/Lows):

  • Monday: 73/61
  • Tuesday: 74/63
  • Wednesday: 74/63
  • Thursday: 79/63
  • Friday: 75/38
  • Saturday: 55/39

It’s going to feel a lot like Christmas this weekend in Sebastian.

According to the National Weather Service, there is still a high risk of numerous life-threatening rip currents at the Sebastian Inlet and beaches. Rough surf is also expected. Therefore, entering the water is highly discouraged.

Poor boating conditions will continue in offshore waters in Brevard County and Indian River County. Small Craft should exercise caution with seas 4 to 6 feet and occasionally reaching up to 7.

Sebastian will experience colder temperatures on Friday and Saturday nights, with wind chill advisories this weekend. We will publish any shelter information by the weekend in both Brevard and Indian River counties.

Sebastian Daily will keep you updated as we get closer to the weekend.
