SEBASTIAN — E Power Bike Shop is inviting the community to a casual group ride Nov. 8 that will follow the Sebastian Rail Trail to Fellsmere.
The ride starts at the shop, located off County Road 512, and covers a 20-mile round trip with a stop at Willy’s Bar and Grill. Organizers said all bikes are welcome, regardless of type or rider experience.
Bobby Swan of E Power Bike Shop said the event is meant to bring people together outdoors.
“Our goal is to bring the community together, encourage people to get outdoors, stay active, and connect with others who enjoy riding,” Swan told Sebastian Daily.
The shop held a similar community ride last year. This year’s route stays on the rail trail for most of the distance before the stop in Fellsmere.
Riders interested in joining can contact E Power Bike Shop for details on meeting time and any last-minute updates.
The group will ride the Sebastian Rail Trail, officially known as the Trans-Florida Central Railroad Trail, that runs between Sebastian and Fellsmere. The trail covers roughly 3.2 to 4.4 miles.
