SEBASTIAN – Areas of Indian River County experienced a lot of rain on Friday from Sebastian to Vero Beach, but there might be more rain in the forecast on Sunday.
For Saturday, there’s only a slight chance of showers with a high near 91 degrees. The heat index value will be around 102, so stay in the shade and drink plenty of liquids if outdoors.
Tonight will only have a 30% chance of scattered showers with a low near 76 degrees. It should be a good night to watch Tumbleweed at the Tiki Bar & Grill.
The rain chance increases to 50 percent on Sunday afternoon, bringing rain and thunderstorms.
The highs for Sunday will be near 92 degrees, the low near 74.
Monday is much of the same, a 40 percent chance of rain after 11:00 a.m., but a high near 94 degrees. It’s going to be hot! The overnight low near 76 degrees.
Overall, it’s a decent weekend and the rain shouldn’t ruin any plans with an umbrella.
