VERO BEACH – The AMC Indian River 24 and Majestic 11 Theater in Vero Beach have some great opening movies, and it might be a great choice since the weather is supposed to be cooler.

Both movie theaters in Vero Beach have specials going on, and the ticket prices are similar. Some people enjoy the AMC Movies because they shop in the Indian River Mall and others like the Majestic 11 theater for its old-fashioned and genuine experience.

A Dog’s Purpose: Dog lovers will love this film as it tugs at their hearts. Starring Dennis Quaid, Britt Robertson, and Josh Gad. Rated PG.

Gold: This film offers an incredible performance from Matthew McConaughey. You either like it or you don’t. Starring Matthew McConaughey and Bryce Dallas Howard. Rated R.

Resident Evil Final Chapter: The critics hate it, the audience loves it. The film is about the human race’s last hope against apocalyptic obliteration as super soldier Alice is stripped of her psychic powers. Starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, and Shawn Roberts. Rated R.
