
VERO BEACH – A 30-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in Vero Beach on a charge of felony sexual battery of a 12-year-old child, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Thomas Michael Servay in Vero Beach after completing a voluntary lie detector test at the sheriff’s office.
On Oct. 4 at approximately 2:00 a.m., deputies first made contact with Servay outside his home after receiving a call.
The nature of the allegations and his official statements to police were redacted from records provided by the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
Servay was arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail on a charge of Felony Sex Battery. Bond was set at $250,000.
