INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A 20-year-old man from Fellsmere was arrested Sunday night after a sheriff’s K-9 alerted to drugs during a traffic stop for illegal window tint, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said.
Road patrol deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Isaiah Jean-Baptiste on Sunday night, September 6, because the window tint was too dark.
K-9 Tobi alerted on the vehicle that was stopped on 8th Street in Vero Beach. Deputies found what appeared to be marijuana that later tested positive for heroin, along with several other drugs, the sheriff’s office said.
Jean-Baptiste was arrested on multiple charges, including Marijuana possession with intent to sell, intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver schedule 1, use display etc firearm during felony, possess marijuana over 20 grams, and possession of synthetic cannabinoids.
