Due to a current Rip Current advisory, beachgoers are advised to swim close to lifeguard stations. If caught in a rip current, remain calm and float, avoiding swimming against the current. Instead, if possible, swim parallel to the shoreline. If you find it difficult to break free from the current, signal for assistance by calling or waving towards the shore.
