Hurricane Isaias is still a Category 1 storm with maximum sustained winds of 80 mph. The storm is moving northwest at 12 mph.

A hurricane warning is in effect for Indian River County and Brevard County.

Forecasters say Isaias has shifted to the east.

“The track guidance envelope has shifted a little to the east near the Florida coast and calls for a slower forward motion that the previous guidance,” the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.

Hurricane conditions are expected along portions of the Florida east coast late Saturday and Saturday night, and a Hurricane Warning is in effect. Preparations to protect life and property should be rushed to completion.

At this time, Sebastian can experience rain and winds of approximately 70 mph to 80 mph as it passes.

We will have another report by 2:00 p.m. today.
