You don’t have to travel far to enjoy decent Mexican cuisine in Sebastian. Last week, we went to the Ay Jalisco Mexican Restaurant for lunch and were very pleased.
Some people may say the food at Ay Jalisco’s isn’t authentic Mexican cuisine. However, they are providing cuisine that people enjoy. People leave there satisfied with what they ordered, and that’s what keeps this family restaurant in business.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly greeted and taken to our table. Our server took our drink orders, and the chips and salsa followed immediately.
I ordered the Enchiladas Durango, which comes with a chicken mole enchilada, a spinach chipotle enchilada, and a cheese enchilada served with Mexican rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.
It was delicious, consistent with what I have ordered in the past, and a large portion for only $11.50.
We also ordered Chicken Fajitas. The chicken came out sizzling on a skillet with sauteed bell peppers and onions. The fajitas are served with Mexican rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole, and your choice of flour or corn tortillas.
We were delighted with the chicken fajitas. Again, it was tasty and a generous portion for $13.99.
Overall we were pleased with our lunch at Ay Jalisco Mexican Restaurant. The food is always consistent & tasty, and the staff is prompt and friendly.
