Robert C. Faust, Jr., 87, of Sebastian, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2018. He was born April 20, 1930, Covington, Ky.
Bob played college football at Eastern Kentucky State. Thereafter graduation he served in the Army and the Marines.
While working in Fort Lauderdale, Bob spent 35 years officiating high school football and basketball games. His passion for tennis turned into a love for pickleball in his later years.
Bob is survived by the love of his life, of 45 years, Joan Saxon Faust. Bob was a devoted father to Debra (Bob) Lamberti, Cynthia Thompson, Robert Faust III, grandchildren; Tyler, Jenna and Robert, and stepchildren Dr. Robert Easton (Gloria) and Jeff Easton, and step-grandchildren, Rob, Linda, Jeff Jr. (Kara), Ryan (Melissa), Tyler (Jennifer) , Daniel (Rachel) and four beautiful great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Feb. 3 1:30 p.m., at the United Church of Sebastian, 1251 Sebastian Blvd. Sebastian.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to United Church of Sebastian or the VNA Hospice of Vero Beach.
