SEBASTIAN — MedFast Urgent Care opened its newest location Monday at 13800 U.S. Highway 1 (Roseland), expanding the Brevard County-based network into Indian River County and giving Sebastian-area residents a walk-in option for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
The clinic at the former bank building operates from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas. No appointment is required. Services include treatment for common illnesses and injuries, on-site digital X-rays, laboratory testing, EKGs, physicals (school, sports, employment and DOT), occupational medicine and workers’ compensation care.

MedFast Urgent Care Centers was founded in 2007 by Dr. David Williams, an emergency medicine physician and former flight surgeon who previously served as chairman of the emergency medicine department at Wuesthoff Health Systems. Williams remains chief medical officer. Aimee Larkin serves as president and CEO.
The company operates more than 20 locations across Brevard and Volusia counties, with additional sites under construction. It has been named Best Urgent Care in Brevard County by Florida Today for six consecutive years (2020–2025). Company officials say most patients are seen in less than an hour.
MedFast accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Blue Cross and Health First, Oscar, and offers self-pay options. Telehealth visits are also available for a flat self-pay fee.
The Sebastian clinic marks MedFast’s first permanent presence in Indian River County, extending its reach along the Treasure Coast.
