The 5th Annual Veterans & Family Picnic will be Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Riverview Park, located at 600 US HWY 1, in Sebastian.
There will be fun, games and lunch provided. Please bring a lawn chair.
The Veterans Council of IRC hosts this picnic, along with American Legion Post 189, American Legion Post 181, American Legion Post 39, VFW Post 10210, Vero Beach Veterans, the Next Generation Veterans of IRC, and The Salvation Army.

The Upward Veterans Program provides emergency assistance with utility bills, rent, medical expenses, and groceries for eligible veterans. - Veterans Outreach
The Veterans Outreach Program provides assistance with the transition from military to civilian life. Employment readiness, job search, and skills training. - Transportation Services
The Veteran Transportation Service provides transportation to medical appointments at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. - Veterans in the Classroom
The Veterans in the Classroom Program teaching students about respect for the nation, flag honors, military service, and citizenship. - Veterans Helping Veterans
The Veterans Helping Veterans Program provides basic home improvements for veterans who cannot afford or are physically unable to complete the work. - Honoring Veterans
The Honoring Veterans Program constructs memorials for the fallen and performing military ceremonies with local veteran organizations.
