Man Steals Ninja Blender At Sebastian Walmart

SEBASTIAN – A 53-year-old man was arrested by the Sebastian Police Department after stealing a Ninja blender at Walmart.

The hopeful smoothie maker, identified as Joseph Leo Giles of Grant, was observed by Walmart’s loss prevention team as he walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise.

While leaving, police found Giles next to his Ford Expedition with his shopping cart.

An officer made contact with Giles, who agreed to talk with police. He admitted to walking out with the Ninja blender and a sound system.

Police asked Giles to put the items back in the Walmart cart. The items recovered were:

  • Ninja Food Blender ($148.00)
  • 5-Channel Wireless Sound System ($149.00)

The loss prevention officer watched Giles select the items and walk out without paying for the merchandise.

Giles was arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail where he was charged with Theft.
