MICCO – Brevard County Fire Rescue units are currently on the scene of a mobile home fire in Pelican Bay, just south of Barefoot Bay.

While on the scene, a deputy form the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office told Sebastian Daily he thinks the fire started on the porch and spread throughout the home within minutes.

No injuries.


The fire was caused by batteries in the golf cart parked next to the home. The home is totaled.

Unfortunately, two little dogs died, succumbing to smoke inhalation.
