H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue is excited to announce its 7th Annual “Chase Your Tail 5K” event, which supports no-kill rescue efforts. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 20, 2024, as the race starts at 7:30 am sharp from the Sebastian Community Center, winding along the scenic Indian River Drive. For those spontaneous souls, same-day registration opens at 6:30 am.
This inclusive charity affair caters to athletes, beginners, kids, and furry friends. In addition to the invigorating 5k, participants can relish in pre and post-race festivities, featuring live music, entertainment, and a replenishing breakfast bar to keep energy levels high. Plus, browse a selection of vendors offering everything from race essentials to pet-related goodies.

- Top 3 in Each Age Group: 9 & Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
- Top Dog (Fastest person running with a dog)
- Fastest Pack (team) – must be co-ed and have four or more people
Registration
Registration includes one race entry, a swag bag, a T-shirt, and a breakfast bar. Early registration is $35 per person, and on race day, it is $40. Register four or more people at the same time and receive $5 off per registration.

- 6:30 am – Late Registration & Packet Pickup Begins (Sebastian Community Center)
- 7:15 am – Late Registration & Packet Pickup Ends
- 7:30 am – 5K Starts
Early Packet Pickup
Early Packet Pickup will be Friday, April 19, 2024, from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the H.A.L.O. Adoption Center at the Indian River Mall (6200 20th St Mall Entrance #4, Northeast side of Mall, Vero Beach, FL 32966.
