On Monday, there was a big turnout for the Memorial Day Observance at Riverview Park.

The rain clouds departed a few minutes before the service started, bringing perfect weather for the observance.

Some attendees include Sebastian Mayor Ed Dodd, Councilman Fred Jones, IRC Sheriff Eric Flowers, Deputy Chief Greg Witt, County Commissioner Joe Flescher, David Newhart, and others.
