The Senior Resource Association is hosting its 8th Annual Santa for Seniors Gift Drive. Without the generosity of of the Indian River County community, hundreds of homebound and isolated seniors will not receive a holiday gift this year.
The Senior Resource Association (SRA) collects and delivers presents to seniors in need each holiday season. Sadly, this year the number of older adults in crisis has increased from 650 to 850.
Santa for Seniors relies significantly on the generosity of individuals, business owners, volunteers, and local retailers to make this event a success. Over 4,000 gifts have been delivered to seniors throughout Indian River County since the program’s inception.
Gift collections begin in early November and will end on Friday, December 10, 2021. Everyone is encouraged to participate and share the joy by engaging customers, colleagues, and friends in the gift drive.
