The Board of County Commissioners is thrilled to announce a transformative project at Sandridge Golf Club, marked by an upcoming Groundbreaking Ceremony. Construction will soon begin on a state-of-the-art 22,000-square-foot clubhouse and event space designed to enhance the guest experience and meet the growing demand for premium amenities.
“Sandridge is already ranked in the top 15 of all golf courses statewide,” said Michael Zito, Deputy County Administrator. This new facility will take the County’s public golf club to new heights, added Zito.
The $13 million project features a full-service restaurant and bar seating 80 indoors and 60 outdoors, supported by a commercial kitchen. A versatile 200-person banquet hall, divisible into two 100-person rooms, will cater to weddings, corporate events, and private functions with a dedicated catering kitchen. A landscaped event lawn will accommodate up to 250 guests for ceremonies and celebrations.
Additional upgrades include expanding the parking lot from 85 to 204 spaces and relocating the golf cart staging area for improved efficiency, utilizing the existing clubhouse footprint.
“This project is a major investment in the future of our community and in those who enjoy our club year-round,” said Bela Nagy, PGA Director of Golf. “Whether you’re here to dine, celebrate, or play, the new facility is designed to deliver an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.”
Quest Contracting LLC of West Palm Beach was awarded the $11.2 million construction contract, with $1.8 million allocated for furnishings, fixtures, and kitchen equipment. The project is slated for completion by September 2026.
