Wearing a white hat and a mask, Sebastian Councilman Damien Gilliams showed up at Riverview Park demanding to see permits from people running the petition to recall signing.
The PAC leaders rented out the entire park to allow people to sign the petitions to recall and remove Damien Gilliams, Charles Mauti, and Pamela Parris from public office.
As Sebastian Daily started its camera footage, Gilliams was taking pictures of anywhere not wear a mask, and telling people to stand 6-feet away from one another.
Gilliams was followed out to the sidewalk near U.S. Highway 1 where he waved at cars honking at the recall signs. At one point, he ran up to a car and introduced himself while pointing at the people holding up “LOCK THEM UP” and “RECALL” signs.
