Sebastian River High School (SRHS) will be kicking off its 2021 Prism Concert tonight, December 9th, at 7:00 pm. The Treasure Coast’s most popular holiday concert will feature the school band & choral programs.

The SRHS Prism concert has something for everyone. The music ranges from holiday favorites, classics, popular sitcom & movie tunes, and today’s hits.

Last night, we had the pleasure of attending their media night, and it was phenomenal. If you have never been to a Prism concert, you won’t want to miss it, and if you have been, you know it gets better year after year.

The flag girls had me dancing in my seat with their Holly Jolly Christmas dance performance, and the chorus had me singing along to Jingal Bells. Andy and I were both singing along to the clarinet’s rendition of Up Town Girl!

Of course, being a SRHS alumni and percussionist, I couldn’t help reminiscing when the drumline took to the stage. I love that they kept with tradition and played cadences from when the school first opened in 1994.
