On Thursday, we noticed that Sebastian’s Roadside Restaurant was closed with a sign that read “until further notice.”

However, they reopened this morning.

“We are open. We had a problem with the kitchen ceiling, which we fixed yesterday. We are open regular hours today,” owner Thomas Wright told Sebastian Daily.

Rumors were circling on social media Thursday that the restaurant was shut down or closed indefinitely.

As patrons showed up for lunch, they pulled on locked doors and peeked through windows, trying to find any reason for the closure.

The restaurant is one of the busiest places to dine in Sebastian.

Sebastian’s Roadside Restaurant is located at 10795 U.S. Highway 1 in Sebastian. For more information, call 772-581-2623.
