Cyril D. Rochon was born in Waterbury, CT, to Cyril G and May Bulka Rochon. He lived in CT and NY before attending Yale University and South Connecticut State College, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Art Education in 1968.
Following a stint in the Army, Cy taught high school art in Athol, MA, until 1977. For the next 35 years, he and his wife renovated houses and invested in real estate in New England and Englewood, Florida.
Cy is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Jean Rochon and his brother George Rochon and survived by his sisters Vernie Cawley and Marie Rochon, seven nieces and nephews, and their children.
During his life, Cy enjoyed painting, fishing, chess, and playing water volleyball with his very good friends at Indian River Estates.
He was proud of being ½ Polish, ½ French, and All-American. He will be missed.
