SEBASTIAN – A man was found dead near the docks of Squid Lips Saturday at approximately 1:00 p.m., according to the Sebastian Police Department.
Lt. Timothy Wood told Sebastian Daily that someone notified law enforcement in the 1600 block of Indian River Drive about a dead body in the Indian River Lagoon next to Squid Lips.
The identity of the body is being withheld until relatives have been notified. The body is of a white male in his 30s.
The case is still under investigation.
