The number of new COVID-19 cases in and around Sebastian, Barefoot Bay, Micco, Grant, Fellsmere, and Wabasso are still slowing down. This is good news for our area.

However, the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Indian River County climbing and raising concerns. For the past two days, a total of 9 people have died from COVID-19 in Indian River County.

You can still live your life and be safe. Please practice social distancing, wash hands regularly, and wear a mask when unable to social distance.

Local:

  • Sebastian: 253 cases
  • Barefoot Bay: 12 cases
  • Micco: 4 cases
  • Grant-Valkaria: 21 cases
  • Fellsmere: 380 cases
  • Wabasso: 8 cases
  • Vero Beach: 1,863 cases (this number also includes Vero Lake Estates and other rural areas near Vero Beach)

Indian River County Coronavirus Cases

  • Cases: 2,748
  • Deaths: 67
  • Admitted to Hospital: 219

Brevard County Coronavirus Cases

  • Cases: 6,722
  • Deaths: 179
  • Admitted to Hospital: 537

  • Deaths: 9,587
  • Currently Hospitalized: 5,729
