Sebastian ShrimpFest & Craft Beer Hullabaloo Coming March 2021

The ShrimpFest & Craft Beer Hullabaloo will be March 19th – 21st at Riverview Park in Sebastian. They will offer great food, live music, vendors, and more.

Some modifications have been made since the last Sebastian ShrimpFest due to COVID-19.

“All the volunteers will be wearing face masks, plus gloves where needed. Face masks will be encouraged for all who come as well as social distancing as needed. We will have hand sanitizers around the park as well. We will also be sanitizing surfaces throughout the event to help. We want everyone to come and enjoy the event,” Event Coordinator Marc Gingras told Sebastian Daily.

Gingras also said they are spreading the event out as well. For example, the Craft Brew Hullabaloo area will be in the lower field by the river, with attendance capped at 1,000.

Food Trucks

“Sebastian-based food trucks have been contacted and invited,” Derek Gerry, Mash Monkeys Brewing Company, told Sebastian Daily.

Gerry, one of the event organizers, said the food trucks will have low country shrimp boil, shrimp nachos, shrimp Po Boy, shrimp gumbo, and shrimp ceviche, fried shrimp baskets, shrimp cocktail, and some pizza with shrimp toppings.

There will also be other foods offered at the event, other than shrimp.

Craft Beer Tasting

The annual Craft Beer Tasting Event will be on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. It will have about 20 breweries, and the cost to participate is $30 online or $35 at the event.

“Twenty Florida breweries will be set up on the grassy area down by the water. All servers will be masked and gloved with disposable cups being used,” Pete Anderson, Pareidolia Brewing Company, told Sebastian Daily.
