Sebastian Christmas Parade is on for Dec. 11

Sebastian Christmas Parade

The annual Christmas Parade in Sebastian is scheduled for Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. along Indian River Drive.

The 4th of July parade was canceled last summer after several organizations pulled out due to concerns over COVID-19.

However, city officials reached out to the Sebastian Lion’s Club and other community groups to coordinate our annual Christmas parade for 2020.

Santa’s House

There are a few changes this year at Riverview Park with Santa’s house. Mr. Clause will not have a house set-up at Riverview Park; however, he will be riding in the parade and greeting children.

Vice Mayor Jim Hill told Sebastian Daily that he’s been receiving feedback from the public asking for the parade. Residents can social distance, wear masks, and still be safe during the parade, Hill added.
