SEBASTIAN – Indian River County Law Enforcement agencies come together for Christmas in July to raise funds for children/families who are facing financial hardships.
Chrismas in July will be at Riverview Park in Sebastian, Saturday, July 21, 2018, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This event will include small business vendors, DJ SHHH-OP Entertainment, food, games, face painting and much more.
Shop with a Cop is an annual event in which law enforcement agencies work together to make it possible for the children in their community to have a Christmas to remember.
Indian River County has a lot of children who would not have a Christmas if it weren’t for programs such as Shop With A Cop.
A few days before Christmas each officer is assigned a child between the ages of 5-17 and is given a $100 gift card to use to shop for the child. This is made possible by fundraising events, and donations.
