The Environmental Learning Center (ELC) and guests will rejoice by featuring artists who have exhibited at the ELC, both past, and present.

Meet & Greet – October 24th – from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join us for a night celebrating ELC’s resident artists. Meet the artists whose work is on display on campus. There will be an outdoor cocktail hour with complimentary wine and beer, live music, and so much more!

Safety measures will be in place, and masks are required indoors and when not able to keep 6 feet physical distance from other patrons. There is a $5 suggested donation. Please email art@DiscoverELC.org to RSVP.

Exhibits

Come visit the new Lisa Rose exhibit Nature in Pastel adorning our tidal gallery walls and take a stroll through our Lagoon Room to check out Brian LaPersonerie’s An Outdoor Revolution.

These artists see the importance of the ELC’s mission to educate, inspire, and empower all people to be active stewards of the environment and their own well-being.

“Every person has their own connection to nature,” LaPersonerie said.

“Whether it’s your love of the beach, a curiosity to explore or the sound of the rain tapping at your window. ARTober isn’t just for the artist, it’s for anyone who can feel the tranquility or the healing powers of nature. And with our nation in pieces we must retreat to what makes us feel whole again. This is my motive to start an outdoor revolution,” he added.

Stay up to date with ARTober

Each week in October, the ELC will feature one of our artists so you can learn about their passion and creative process for portraying nature through various mediums of art. Follow our blog and social media to get a behind the scenes look at the art you see around the ELC campus!

An after-party at Captain Hiram’s will follow the event. A special thank you goes out to our sponsors Wink Pr, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, Beach Bites, and Captain Hirams Resort.
