VERO BEACH – The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will be hosting a Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk at Riverside Park, in Vero Beach, on Saturday, September 8, 2018, from 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM.
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk is 3.43 miles. Participants are welcome to walk or run at this event.
Additionally, there will be a one-mile memorial walk, at the same time and location, as the 5k. This walk is for participants who are unable to do the 3.43 miles.
Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk registration cost $25.00 for adults, first responders, and military. It is $15 for youth15 to 17 years of age, and children 6-years-old and under are free. (All registration prices are subject to increase before the events).
The registration fee for the one-mile memorial walk is $20 per adult 12 and up, and $25 on race day.

The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
