VERO BEACH – The Vero Beach Police Department received a call from a Dunkin’ Donuts about a man who was “intoxicated and licking himself” inside their restaurant.

Arriving officers met with Robert Spire, 37, who is homeless in the area. Patrons complained about Spire before leaving.

Police found out that Spire was previously trespassed from the same Vero Beach Dunkin’ Donuts in July 2016.

Police arrested Spire and charged him with Misdemeanor Trespass on Property. He remains at the Indian River County Jail in lieu of a $500 bond.
