On June 7, 2025, the Sebastian River High School Football Stadium will host the inaugural Treasure Coast Police K9 Competition, a thrilling event kicking off at 5:30 p.m.
Organized by the K91 Rescued to Rescue Foundation, this first-of-its-kind gathering in the region will bring together law enforcement K9 teams from Brevard County, Indian River County, St. Lucie County, Fort Pierce PD, Riviera Beach PD, Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Leesburg PD, and other departments.
More than 30 K9 teams will compete, tackling a tough obstacle course and racing in a “Hard Dog, Fast Dog” event. The competition shows off the amazing skills of these dogs and the strong connection they have with their handlers, who work hard to keep communities safe.
The event is more than just a competition. People can enjoy different food trucks, check out vendor stalls, and watch a cool halftime show by Florida K9 Sports. It’s a fun evening for families and dog lovers!
The K91 Rescued to Rescue Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. They focus on saving shelter dogs, including those thought to be unadoptable, and training them to become service dogs for veterans and first responders dealing with trauma. K91’s mission is to create these meaningful connections to bring hope, ease pain, and help prevent suicide among those who have served our communities and country.
