Earth Day Family Fun Festival at ELC

The Environmental Learning Center (ELC) will have an Earth Day Family Fun Festival 2021 to celebrate our Earth with a fun-filled day of guided outdoor exploration and discovery on Saturday, April 17, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the ELC, 255 Live Oak Drive in Vero Beach.

The Environmental Learn Center will be offering a range of hands-on activities that are sure to excite, educate and inspire nature-lovers. Participants will receive valuable information on how to lead a more sustainable, eco-conscious lifestyle.

Activities

  • Pond dip-netting
  • Guided nature walks along their beautiful mangrove forest boardwalks
  • Recycled crafts
  • Access to the Discovery Station and Touch Tank
  • An interactive storytime 
  • And more

Cost 

Adults cost is included with admission price, children under 12 years of age $5.00 registration is required. Adults must sign an indemnification form to allow children to participate in the program (included in online registration).

What should participants wear?

Those participanting should wear clothing and footwear that is able to get wet and dirty, and art play is strongly suggested. Closed-toe shoes or water shoes are required to participate in pond dip-netting activity.

Facemasks are required for all participants 5-year-old and up. Adults will be responsible for ensuring their families maintain proper social distancing throughout this program. 

The ELC is not responsible for any personal items that are stolen or damaged. For additional information about this event, visit the ELC website.

Also, there is an Earth Day 2021 in Sebastian Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Riverview Park. There will be family activities and live music.
