Dog lovers set to chase tails at HALO’s ninth annual 5K

SEBASTIAN — Dog lovers and fitness fans will gather for a fun run that helps save animals without a home. HALO No-Kill Rescue Shelter will hold its 9th Annual Chase Your Tail 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 18, 2026, along Indian River Drive.

The event starts at the Sebastian Community Center at 6:30 a.m. for same-day registration, 7:30 a.m. for those already registered and runs until 10:30 a.m. It includes entertainment before and after the race, along with an energy-boosting breakfast bar. Open to all ages and skill levels. Runners, walkers and their dogs are all welcome.
