The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an accident involving one pedestrian hit by a train at the railroad crossing in Barefoot Bay.
“Agents are responding to the scene. I was advised that there is only one victim,” sheriff’s office spokesman Tod Goodyear told Sebastian Daily.
This is a developing story. Authorities are asking motorists to avoid the area and use Micco Road from US-1 as an alternative route.
