VERO BEACH — Jason Jeffries, Vero Beach’s planning and development director, is set to discuss the city’s growth strategies and key projects at an upcoming community event.
The talk, hosted by Vero Heritage Inc., will cover topics including the Three Corners Waterfront Project, neighborhood preservation efforts, updates to the city’s land development regulations and progress on implementing the downtown master plan. Jeffries plans to highlight ways to promote controlled downtown expansion while safeguarding Vero Beach’s historic charm.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Heritage Center in Vero Beach. Admission requires a $20 donation, with proceeds benefiting Vero Heritage Inc. Light refreshments will be provided.
Jeffries has held his current position since November 2018. He previously served as a redevelopment project manager focused on downtown revitalization in Daytona Beach.
Organizers described the evening as both informative and entertaining, aimed at giving residents an inside look at initiatives shaping the city’s future.
