Mayor Jim Hill tells Sebastian Daily that he will not seek a 10th term on the Sebastian City Council. Hill has served the community for the past two decades.

Hill also said that he wants to focus on his family and business ventures.

“As the campaign and election season nears, I feel it necessary to end any speculation as to my intentions going forward and to make my decision official. I will not be seeking a 10th term on the Sebastian City Council. It has been an honor and privilege to serve this great community for the past two decades. I am proud of the many accomplishments made during my tenure, and believe that the city is in good hands with the leadership currently in place. At this time, it is important for me to focus on my family and business ventures. Thank you to all who have given me your support over the years,” Hill said.

Sebastian Daily plans to meet up again with Hill to conduct a full interview about his legacy and everything he has accomplished while serving the people in Sebastian.
