Anytime Fitness of Sebastian recently celebrated its Grand-Reopening after the new owners did a massive renovation that cost close to $40,000. The improvements include new flooring, paint, equipment, and upgraded energy-efficient LED lighting.
In addition, they added a new functional turf area that will have MyZone heart rate monitors, functional equipment with new ropes, sleds, and assault bikes. The new equipment will be arriving in April.
They now have 3 national accredited personal trainers who work for Anytime Fitness Sebastian and not independently.
Committed to Cleanliness
A professional cleaning crew cleans three times a week, and staff members have daily cleaning checklists that must be done.
To ensure the equipment is always clean, each member receives a microfiber towel as they enter the building, and virus disinfectant spray is throughout the gym.
Co-Owner – Erik Hughes
Erik Hughes has been with Anytime Fitness for the last seven years, and he has an extensive track record. He wants everyone to know that Corp. America did not take over Anytime Fitness of Sebastian. Hughes is a 4th Generation from Brevard County.

Along with Hughes, Bryan Swain is a co-owner and is heavily involved in the day-to-day operations. Bryan has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and has been implementing top-notch training programs throughout multiple gym brands.
Hughes and Swain grew up together and have been friends for 30 years.
They are committed to keeping senior classes as well as expanding new classes for a broader range of interests and skill levels.
“Our focus is on customer service to make sure that we provide the best experience for everyone,” Hughes told Sebastian Daily.
Hughes, a natural entrepreneur, is also in negotiations to bring another new business to Sebastian to complement the gym and provide A+ level business to our area.
