Plenty of sunshine this week after a rainy weekend, but windy conditions will continue in Sebastian, Florida.
The winds started Friday afternoon and were nonstop all weekend, and one unlucky sailboat ran aground from strong currents in the Indian River Lagoon.
Here’s a look at the daily temperatures (Highs/Lows):
- Monday – 74/62
- Tuesday – 75/63
- Wednesday – 77/64
- Thursday – 81/64
- Friday – 82/57
We could see another repeat this Friday as we did the last one. A cold front will move into Sebastian again, bringing cooler temperatures, high winds, and rain.
Seas were 4 to 6 feet during the weekend, but the highest was near 11 feet on Saturday. The waters should settle down this week.
We could see some small craft advisories. Winds on the water will be 10 to 15 knots all week.
Here’s a look at the seas:
- Monday – 3 to 5 feet with occasional seas to 6 feet.
- Tuesday – 3 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet.
- Wednesday – 3 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet.
We’ll have another boating forecast later in the week.
