SEBASTIAN — Sebastian River High School will host its annual homecoming parade, community pep rally, powder puff game, and homecoming football game from Tuesday, Sept. 29, through Friday, Oct. 2.
The parade is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday along Indian River Drive. It will feature floats, athletes, clubs, and the Marching Sharks.
The route starts at the Capt. Robert G. Hardee Main Street Boat Ramp and heads south, ending at Riverview Park.
Indian River Drive will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Pep Rally and Marching Sharks Perform
A community pep rally follows the parade at Riverview Park.
The Marching Sharks and Sebastian River cheerleaders will perform.
Tents in the park before and during the parade will showcase SRHS programs. The Rotary Club of Sebastian will award prizes for the best float.
Powder Puff Game
The powder puff game is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Shark Stadium.
Junior and senior girls will play flag football. The boys will coach and cheer.
Homecoming Game
The Sharks host Heritage of Palm Bay at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Shark Stadium.
Admission is $5 at the gate.
The SRHS homecoming is an annual tradition that draws students, families, and residents to the riverfront and Shark Stadium each fall.
