Families should submit the Free & Reduced-Price Meal forms for students who will attend classes in the upcoming academic term. A new application is required each school year, according to the announcement. Households should file only one application.
Ways to Apply
- Apply online at LINQConnect.com or download the LINQ Connect app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- You can also print a paper application from the Food & Nutrition Services website, located under the Dining option on the SDIRC main page.
- Paper applications will also be available at your child’s school.
Before you apply, here are a few helpful reminders:
- A new application is required each school year.

- If your household receives SNAP or TANF, enter your 10-digit case number that begins with the number “1.” You can find your case number on your SNAP or TANF approval letter, benefits notice, or by logging into your MyACCESS account.
- Even if you’re not sure you qualify, you are encouraged to apply. Eligibility for free or reduced-price meals may also help your family qualify for other educational programs and benefits.
