SEBASTIAN – With many group fitness classes going on each day at Sebastian Fitness, they decided it was time to invest in a new floor in their group fitness room. On Memorial Day 2019, members can bring a friend for free to the 11:00 a.m. Zumba class to check out the gym and the new floor in the group fitness room.

Sebastian Fitness owners Chris and Micki Discepolo have done a lot of upgrades since purchasing the gym in 2016. The first task was to update all the equipment and then they bought all new treadmills & stand-alone bicycles. Additionally, they installed a smoothy bar, laid new flooring around the foyer, and repainted the Kids Club and Group Fitness rooms.

Continuing their improvements, they have tackled the group fitness room, which is a big project. It is used daily for the following classes:

  • Group Cycling
  • Muscle Works
  • Zumba Fitness
  • HIIT Class
  • Muscle Works Plus
  • Step It Up
  • Pound Class
  • Cardio Blast
  • Cardio Kickboxing
  • Tighten and Tone
  • Full Body Attack
  • Sweat & Stretch
  • Hatha Yoga w/Becky
  • Deep Relaxation
  • Yoga

Group fitness is great for everyone, as you can work at your own level. We highly recommend these classes for anyone who does not have a lot of experience in a gym setting, as the instructor will show you the correct form, so you do not get injured.

The gym also has several trainers to assist people in learning the equipment and reaching their goals outside of the group fitness room. The atmosphere is upbeat, friendly, and management is there to help you. The facility also provides free Wi-Fi to all members.

On Memorial Day 2019, members can bring a friend for free for the Zumba class at 11:00 a.m. This is a good time to check out the gym and group fitness room.
