The Sebastian Police Department needs your help identifying an armed man who rang the doorbell at a residence.

The incident occurred Monday afternoon in the 100 block of Aetna Street in Sebastian.

Police received a call about a black male armed with a handgun with his face covered as he rang the doorbell system.

The armed subject told the Ring recording device that he was looking for his dog. A person answered back through the Ring device, informing the subject that he was at the wrong house. The armed male then answered “ok” and walked away.

It is unknown why the subject was armed and had his face covered. If anyone has any information regarding the identity of this subject please call the non-emergency number for Sebastian Police Department at 772-589-5233.
