VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art is participating once again in the national Blue Star Museums program, providing free admission to active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day through early September.
The free visits begin Saturday, May 16, and run through Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026.
The program is open to those currently serving in the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force, the Reserves and National Guard, as well as members of the U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps and NOAA Commissioned Corps. Each service member may bring up to five family members.
Qualified visitors must present a Geneva Convention common access card, a DD Form 1173 dependent ID card or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card.
“We are pleased to again participate in the Blue Star Museums program and welcome active-duty military personnel and their families to the Museum this summer,” said Brady Roberts, Vero Beach Museum of Art executive director. “While admission to VBMA is always free for military veterans and active-duty personnel, as a Blue Star Museum, we proudly waive admission fees for the family members accompanying those actively serving military members.”
In addition, the museum’s Art School honors U.S. military veterans with a schedule of free classes and offers a 15% discount on regular classes and workshops.
