Damien Gilliams, a candidate for Sebastian City Council, is accused of posting false endorsements on his 2019 campaign website.

One of the names on Gilliams’ website is Sebastian City Council member Ed Dodd. We reached out to Ed Dodd and asked if he endorsed Damien Gilliams. We found out that he has never endorsed Gilliams.

“No, I did not endorse Damien. I have asked several times to have my name removed. Like most things, Damien only does things when good for him,” Dodd told Sebastian Daily.

As of Tuesday, we have information leading us to believe there are more false endorsements and we are running down those leads at this time.

Gilliams has run for city council every year since 2010, so far unsuccessfully.
