SEBASTIAN — Pareidolia Brewing Company will host its Annual Running of the Wieners on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All proceeds will benefit HAL.O. No-Kill Rescue Shelter.
The family event will include wiener and open class dog races, live music by Group Therapy, raffles, and a food truck. Organizers are asking spectators to bring a chair and sunscreen.
Last year’s race drew 45 dogs and raised $1,836 for the shelter, which does not euthanize animals for space, age, or treatable medical and behavioral issues.
Entry is $25 per dog. Dachshunds run in the main races. Open-class dogs of other breeds are encouraged to enter and compete for their own prizes.
Owners can register a dog by clicking here to the brewery’s form.
Spectators do not need a ticket. For additional information, contact the brewery at 772-571-5693 or pareidoliabrewing@gmail.com.
