The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the search, rescue, and relief efforts on the West Coast of Florida.
Sheriff Eric Flowers gave a briefing to a dedicated team of deputies prior to leaving this morning.
“Indian River County was spared from the wrath of Hurricane Ian. We are sending resources to the West Coast to assist our brothers and sisters who need us right now. We will continue to provide assistance as needed. Please keep them in your prayers,” Flowers said.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said the team is working day and night to aid those who the devastation left by Hurricane Ian has impacted.
