Tree Trimmer Dies After Being Electrocuted in Sebastian

Police say a tree trimmer died after he was electrocuted by a live power line near Dixie Terrace in Sebastian Tuesday.

Florida Power & Light said electricity to several homes near Laconia and Periwinkle were knocked out and they are still working to restore power.

Rescue personnel and the Sebastian Police Department are at the scene.

A fire rescue spokesperson identified the victim as an adult male. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is a developing story.

UPDATE: The Sebastian Police Department has identified the tree trimmer who died.
