There is currently a tropical storm warning for Sebastian, Roseland, Micco, Grant, Wabasso, Fellsmere, and other areas.

“Heavy rainfall from Eta will continue across portions of Cuba, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and southern Florida and spread north into central Florida,” the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in a statement.

According to the NHC, it is certainly possible that the tropical storm could become a hurricane before it reaches the Florida Keys tonight. Hurricane warnings are being issued for portions of the Florida Keys.

In Sebastian, there is currently a Flood Watch until Monday night. There is also a High Surf Advisory until Monday.

Please bring in any loose debris that may be in your yard due to high winds. We can expect wind gusts as high as 35 mph.

Tonight, we can expect tropical storm conditions with thunderstorms. The high will be around 81 degrees.

As of right now, high winds will continue into Tuesday night.

We will publish more updates when the NHC releases them.
