We could see a low of 58 degrees Tuesday night as a cold front begins to move through this afternoon in Sebastian, Florida. There’s also an increased chance of thunderstorms and wind gusts as high as 20 mph.
The good news is the colder temps will keep the hurricanes away from Florida as the front moves through Tuesday afternoon.
Expect cooler overnight temperatures through the weekend, an excellent time to turn off the A/C and open the windows. The downside is the rain, but there’s only a 20 percent chance predicted this weekend.

Break out those jackets and blankets because it’s going to get chilly. Our snowbirds are beginning to arrive here in Sebastian just in time for overnight temperatures of 58 and 63 degrees.
The winds will be 10 to 15 mph on Tuesday, but we can expect gusts as high as 20 mph on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
As of Tuesday, the tropics are quiet with no disturbances. So naturally, as we get closer to November, the chance of tropical storms and hurricanes will decrease. The hurricane season ends on November 30th.
Own a sailboat? The winds should be great this week and through the weekend. But the waters will be choppy.
